Make sure to find the home that has many of what you need and want, rather than going for the one that has just a few of your needs and most of your wants.

5. Putting in an offer before you are ready.

Buying a home is a major financial commitment. You have to be financially ready because there are many costs associated with home buying. It's not just a deposit and the home mortgage.
